Henry Wu THE PHYSICIAN SCIENTIST
Is a cardiologist and research scientist who believes in the central importance of diet and nutrition in achieving cardiovascular health. In the care of patients, he uses a dietary approach that is based on sound scientific principles and proven clinical benefits, resorting to medications only when necessary. His research interests relate to elucidating the role of essential fatty acids and vitamins in modulating inflammation in heart diseases. Currently, he is working on a novel method of delivering omega-3 fatty acids to the damaged heart at Harvard Medical School. In this blog, he seeks to explain various issues relating to cardiovascular health in simple understandable terms for the layman.
